Privacy policy

OmniDM does not require an account, nor does it sync your personal data to remote servers. All critical information is stored exclusively on your device within isolated local databases.

• Downloads: File paths and metadata are processed on-device.
• Browsing history & bookmarks: Managed entirely via local database.
• Passwords: Web credentials are encrypted locally inside a secure device unique footprint. OmniDM cannot read your decrypted passwords remotely.

To protect your privacy and conserve device memory, OmniDM features proactive, automated background cleanup routines. Based on your settings preferences, the application routinely permanently deletes:

• Stale browsing history that exceeds user-defined limits.
• Cached website icons and orphaned tab screenshots.
• Metadata of completed download tasks.

The integrated web browser is designed to defend against third-party tracking. OmniDM includes active tracking protection and advertisement blocking by default.

Additionally, users may enable Private tab mode, ensuring that browsing sessions are isolated and leave no local or predictive trace on the device once closed.

OmniDM requests specific device permissions strictly to provide core functionality:

• Storage & Media: Required to save downloaded files directly to your device storage.
• Foreground Services: Utilized to maintain active network transfers while the application is minimized.
• Notifications: Used to display active engine states. By enabling the private notification preference, you can restrict the app from showing sensitive file names on your lock screen.

To keep OmniDM free, we integrate Google AdMob SDK to serve non-intrusive advertisements. AdMob may collect basic diagnostic and device information in accordance with Google's privacy policy.

OmniDM occasionally pings a remote configuration file (app.state.json) purely to fetch application settings (such as hiding/showing ads or retrieving website suggestions) and does not transmit personally identifiable information during this check.
