Torrent is a peer-to-peer protocol. If a torrent has zero active seeders (other users sharing the complete file), the download cannot begin. Verify that your network allows P2P traffic and try finding a magnet link or .torrent file with a higher seeder count.
Many websites wait to load the actual video file until you interact with them. To help OmniDM detect the video, simply tap 'Play' on the web player first. If it still doesn't appear in your list, a quick page refresh usually does the trick!
You don't have to start over! Simply use the built-in browser to navigate back to the original webpage. Once OmniDM detects the file or video again, a 'Sync' icon will appear next to it (or on the specific video quality). Tap this Sync button, and the app will automatically refresh the broken link and resume your download exactly from where it stopped.
These are the two engines OmniDM uses to process and merge streaming videos (like HLS or DASH). FFmpeg is designed for maximum speed, instantly merging streams into a final file, making it the best choice for most users. Native uses Android's built-in media tools to process the file in safe, smaller chunks. While Native is slightly slower, it prevents older or lower-end devices from overheating and offers better stability during massive exports. We recommend FFmpeg unless you experience crashes on your specific device.
When downloading complex streaming videos, OmniDM must temporarily store the raw, unmerged video and audio chunks on your device. During the final processing stage, it requires enough space for both the raw chunks AND the final merged MP4 file. This means the app briefly requires up to twice the size of the final video in free space to safely complete the download.
Aggressive battery savers on certain Android devices (like MIUI, ColorOS, or OneUI) can forcefully kill background internet connections. To ensure uninterrupted downloads, go to your phone's system Settings > Apps > OmniDM, and change the Battery Optimization setting to 'Unrestricted' or 'No Restrictions'.
